Children are not the future of the Church. They ARE the Church!
Our Children’s Discipleship Program gathers students from Pre-K through 5th each Sunday for Bible teaching, singing, praying, and working together to practice God’s word in everyday life. We utilize the curriculum "The Biggest Story" by Crossway to teach key Bible stories from Genesis through Revelation, helping the children understand God’s plan to redeem the world through his Son, Jesus Christ.
Lessons include a take-home activity to be completed with parents, memory verses, and crafts. Discipleship is a team effort that requires the involvement of the children, parents, and the Children's Discipleship teachers.
Class begins at 9:45AM and lasts until 10:30AM, so that children can attend Sunday Service with their church family for singing, worship, scripture reading, the sermon, and Holy Communion. Relevant materials and coloring pages are provided to engage the children during the service. If they desire, parents can choose to worship in the "Family Chapel" with full view and sound of the service, while allowing more opportunities for active children to move and play.
